Mark Furr-President and Owner of Highlands Floor Coverings, and been in the flooring industry since 1991: I started my career in the flooring industry as a tile installer, and through the next 11 years I worked my way up to a management position.  It was these years of experience that gave me the knowledge and experience that I decided to start my own store.  In February of 2002, along with my father-in-law, Jim Hendron, we opened Highlands Floor Coverings.  I believe that it is my vast work experience and the relationships that I have built that has grown Highlands Floor Coverings into Northern Arizona's largest and best flooring stores with locations in both Flagstaff and Cottonwood.  I take pride in the fact that I am a hands on owner who will personally make sure that your experience here will be a great one.  And that is why I invite you to come see what Highlands Floor Coverings has to offer to help you complete any residential, commercial, custom, or general project.  I promise to make your experience here at Highlands Floor Coverings a pleasant one!

Steve Rose- Flagstaff Installation manager, and has been in the construction industry since 1993: I have over 25 years experience in construction.  I started out painting and plastering, then moved on to a construction superintendent, and eventually general contracting.  As a general contractor I specialized in remodeling for both residential and commercial projects.  I feel that my experience in multiple phases of construction has greatly helped my inderstanding of the flooring industry.  My job is to personally assure you that your floor covering experience and installation will be hassle free and be performed by the most professional installers in Northern Arizona.  I will be with you on the job before, during, and after to make sure that you will receive the quality and attention that you deserve.

Toby Redding- Flagstaff/Cottonwood Estimator, and has been in the flooring industry since 1983: I began my flooring career simply moving furniture and tearing out existing flooring.  I then moved on to doing repairs where I was able to learn a lot about floor coverings from correcting installation errors.  Soon I became a floor covering installer and I am now an estimator.  In my current position, I will be the first person from Highlands Floor Coverings to visit your home when you are ready to begin a floor covering project.  I will measure and provide vital information about your project and the materials you may decide to use.  I will be as helpful as I can in transforming your room or home into your dream.

Dave Baker- Commercial Sales Representative, and has been in the flooring industry since 2003: I have career experience in retail management, cabinet design and as a General Contractor Supervisor.  As a General Contractor Supervisor I learned to do measures, takeoffs, estimates, schedule subcontractors, and all about other phases of construction.  All of this knowledge allows me to be well suited to work with contractors, suppliers, installers, and other construction trades - all of which are essential for a successful commercial project.  With over 25 years of retail and customer service experience, I also feel comfortable working with the residential customer.  I like to build lasting relationships and look forward to wokring side by side with you from start to finish on your project.  Here at Highlands Floor Coverings, we've built strong relationships and a good repuatation with both residential customers, and commercial contractors and I will be glad to help you have a plesant flooring experience.

Pamela Neises- Flagstaff Sales Representative/Interior Designer, and has been in the flooring industry since 1993: I have been working as an Interior Designer since 1993, following my graduation with honors from Northern Arizona University.  I enjoy working with builders, realtors, and individual clients.  I am pleased to offer my clients a full range of design services, giving them the personal attention they deserve.  Whether large projects or small, I am here to help fulfill all your interior needs.  Past clients continuously seek my assistance in new remodeling projects, as well as new home projects.  My willingness and knowledge of the right product at the right price for my customers is very important.  I will always go the extra mile!

Dave Sturm- Flagstaff Sales Representative, and has been in the flooring industry since 2002: In 2000, my wife and I left Phoenix to enjoy the weather and lifestyle of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona.  After a 25 year career in business to business sales and management in the automotive lubricants industry, I was ready for a change.  In 2002 I met an individual who has just opened a retail floor covering store here in Flagstaff and was looking for a salesperson and assistant.  Soon after I commenced my career in floor covering and remodeling.  I joined the team at Highlands Floor Coverings in 2003 and have continued to build relationships with many of the local home builders and contractors as well as many new retail customers.  I thoroughly enjoy the process of remodeling or the building of a new home from scratch, and then the satisfaction and beauty of the finished project.  I truly strive to make every project a positive experience for everyone involved from start to finish.
